Wii Sports Resort (Wii) with Wii MotionPlus Accessory

Wii Sports Resort is jam-packed with a lot of fun sport games that can entice any person out there to pick up their Wii and play. This is a sequel to the popular Wii Sports. The only difference is that this version makes use of the Wii Motion Plus accessory which allows users to play the game in the most realistic way possible.
The Wii Motion Plus provides gamers a lot of great addition to the gameplay of the different games.

A more responsive controller for example, makes it more challenging on the part of the user since it almost gives the player utmost control over the character’s actions. It is not just easier to swing the club in golf or throw a ball in bowling; rather, the whole experience of doing it becomes twice as enjoyable as before. All the controls seem very natural – well, almost all except when you get to cycling, where you use your arms to pedal.

Wii Sports Resort also showcases different sports not present in the previous installment. Each one is equally great but each one also has a number of glitches that still need to be fixed. Cycling for example is great in single mode but is confusing in dual mode. You both have to pedal in unison as well as turn the remote in unison to make it move left or right. Although it gets confusing, it also gets enjoyable since you have to work together to be good at it. Just like cycling, canoeing also requires great coordination among the players. Another example is wave running. You get to ride on a jet ski and try to earn points on how well you make the jumps. Swordplay can now also be played where you try to knock your opponents off the board to win. This is a great game to bring out any negative feelings you have buried in you since it allows you to release your tension.

There are several things you can do with Wii Sports Resort; and unlocking the games along the way is one them. The more you play the games, the more mini-games you unlock and the more mini-games you unlock, the more fun you get. This provides a great challenge to players since you have to work hard for the other games since not everything is present to begin with. The things you enjoyed in the previous game are still present in this game but some are altered to make it more interesting.

I just wish they would make a Wii sports that can be played online. Setting up something like that I going to be a real blast as this game really excels in multiplayer mode. But aside from that, I have great respect for the game and recommend that everyone buy this. This is not only a great addition to your game collection but also a crowd pleaser in gatherings.
